From the remains of seminal New Jersey straight edge bands TURNING POINT, FLOORPUNCH and MOUTHPIECE comes the five-piece unit known as SEARCH. Much like the bands from which they spawned, SEARCH kicks out a classic style of East Coast hardcore that’s lean, mean and created to elicit the type of sing-alongs and stage dives you would have expected to witness on Sunday afternoons of yesteryear. But this is no nostalgia act. While the six songs of their debut 7” EP Between The Lines are a testament to a specific style and sound of hardcore, SEARCH most definitely exists in the here and now with a timeless message that is still as relevant and important today as it was when the members themselves discovered it in their teens. And now, thirty years strong, here they are: SEARCH.
